Kristy A. Smith

Kristy A. Smith, 31, of Renfrew passed away at 1:17 a.m. Thursday at Butler Memorial Hospital.

She was born Dec. 11, 1980, in Pittsburgh, the daughter of Marsha Orsborn Smith.

Kristy was a 2000 graduate of Knoch High School. She attended the Hiram G. Andrews Center, Johnstown, where she graduated from their secretarial school in 2003.

She was a member of the former Renfrew United Methodist Church. Kristy volunteered at Sunnyview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center for many years.

Kristy is survived by her mother, Marsha Orsborn Smith; one sister, Tammy Cox; two brothers, John E. Smith Jr. and his wife, Stacey and Chad W. Smith; her maternal grandmother, Mary A. Orsborn; one great-uncle, Hughie “Unk” Lewis; and several other aunts, uncles, cousins and four nieces, all of Renfrew.

She was preceded in death by one cousin, Charlie Orsborn; her paternal grandparents, Ralph and Gertrude Smith; and her maternal grandfather, Albert Orsborn.

Smith, who passed away Thursday, March 8, 2012, will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. today and from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday at <B>Thompson-Miller Funeral Home</B>, 124 E.
