Denise M. Francis

Denise M. Francis, 62, of Cranberry Township, the beloved wife for 43 years of George F. Francis Jr., who she married on April 5, 1968, went to heaven on Tuesday.

Born Feb. 24, 1950, in Pittsburgh, she was the daughter of the late Edward A. and Clara A. “Claire” Rattay.

Denise was a faithful woman dedicated to the Blessed Virgin Mary and was a member of the St. Ferdinand Catholic Church. During her free time, she loved needle point, ceramics and reading. She will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered.

Always a devoted mother, she is survived by her children, George F. Francis III and Patricia L. Kingerski and her husband, Justin; her greatest joys, her four grandchildren, Lauren, Abigail, Joshua and Nicholas Kingerski; and her mother-in-law, Virginia Francis.

She also is survived by five siblings, sisters-in-law, aunts, uncles and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother and a sister.

FRANCIS — A Mass of Christian burial for Denise M. Francis, who passed away on Tuesday, March 6, 2012, will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday at the St. Ferdinand Catholic Church, 2535 Rochester Road, Cranberry Township.She will be laid to rest at the St. Gregory Catholic Church Cemetery in Zelienople.Funeral arrangements are entrusted to the
