Regis L. Huber
Regis L. Huber, 80, of Parker passed away Sunday evening of natural causes at the home of his daughter.
Born on Oct. 11, 1931, in Pittsburgh, he was the son of the late Lawrence and Anna Mangold Huber.
He was married to the former Lois E. Sattler on Dec. 1, 1958, and she passed away Nov. 24, 2002.
He was a Catholic, and he had been a member of the St. Ambrose Catholic Church in Pittsburgh.
He had been employed by Boilermakers Union, Local 154 of Pittsburgh for more than 34 years. He had worked on the construction of the atomic plant at Beaver Falls as well as the power plant in Scrubgrass Township, Venango County.
Regis was honorably discharged from serving in the U.S. Coast Guard from January 1949 through July 1952. He attained the rank of BM2.
He was a member of the VFW Post 7073 of Parker.
Surviving are four daughters. Debra (Debbie) Powers of Slippery Rock, Donna Waldschmidt of Pittsburgh, Diane McGinnis of Eau Claire and Darla Saye of Parker, with whom he made his home; one son, Darren Huber of Butler; 14 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one grandchild, one sister and an infant brother.
<B>HUBER</B> — Visitation for Regis L. Huber, who passed away Sunday, March 4, 2012, will be from 3 to 6 p.m. Wednesday at <B>H. Jack Buzard Funeral Home</B>, 201 S.
