Zehfuss

Carol A. Zehfuss of Stuart, Fla., formerly of Butler, died peacefully at her home Sunday.

Carol was born in Pittsburgh, and she moved from Butler to Stuart, Fla., 19 years ago.

Carol was predeceased by her husband, Lawrence T. Zehfuss (Larry), who passed away in 2003.

She is survived by her daughter, Beth Zehfuss Ritz and her husband, Jon, of New Canaan, Conn., formerly of Pittsburgh; her son, Larry Zehfuss and his wife, Darci, of Denver, Colo.; and her son, Mark Zehfuss and his wife, Carrie, of Richmond, Va. She is survived by her nine grandchildren, Erin, Kelly, Jake, Colleen, Tabitha, Holden, Emma, Chloe and Braeden as well as her ever-faithful canine companion, Willie. She also is survived by her sister, Catherine Miller and her husband, John, of Pittsburgh and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was a member of the Sailfish Point Golf Club and was active in several local charities. She was a member of the St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Stuart, Fla.

<B>ZEHFUSS </B>— Arrangements for Carol A. Zehfuss, who died Sunday, March 4, 2012, are being handled by <B>Forest Hills Funeral Home</B>, Palm City, Fla. There will be no visitation.A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the St. Joseph Catholic Church.
