Mary Ellen Goerl O’Malley, 57, of Zelienople, formerly of Etna, passed away Thursday.

She was the daughter of John “Jack” and Ellen Shaffer Goerl of McCandless Township, who survive.

Mrs. O’Malley was the beloved wife of Sean M. O’Malley; the mother of Jennifer (Chris) Terry of Erie, Sandy (Brian) King of Erie, Christine (Barry) Rankin of Shaler Township, Sean O’Malley of Zelienople and Shawn (Ashley) Baker of New Jersey; the sister of Betty Ann (Dave) Baker of Shaler Township, Patty Byers of Ocean Springs, Miss., Bill (Dotti) Goerl of Troy Hill, Harry (Lorraine) Goerl of Portersville and the late John Goerl; and the grandmother of Evelyn, Sophia and Hugo Terry, Cameron and Colton King, Tyler Rankin, and Brenna and Alyssa Baker.

O’MALLEY — Visitation for Mary Ellen Goerl O’Malley, who died Thursday, March 1, 2012, will be Sunday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. at the
