Cecelia I. Fennell, 86, of Butler passed away at 6:45 p.m. Friday at St. Regis Nursing Home in Massena, N.Y.

She was born March 12, 1925, in Butler, to the late James C. Cousins and Mabel E. Rigby Cousins.

Mrs. Fennell was employed as the head packaging machine operator for Spectrum Diagnostics in Glenwood, Ill. She was a Methodist, and she was a member of the American Legion Ladies' Auxiliary.

Mrs. Fennell is survived by one son, Daniel M. Fennell of Brasier Falls, N.Y.; five grandchildren; a number of great-grandchildren; two sisters, Barbara Brewster and Jessie Cavaliero, both of Butler; and a number of nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles “Bud” Henry Fennell, who passed away Nov. 12, 1999; one daughter, Glenna Joyce Fennell; one son, Richard Duane Fennell; three sisters; and two brothers.

<B>FENNELL</B> — Friends of Cecelia I. Fennell, who passed away Friday, Feb. 24, 2012, will be received from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday, March 2, at <B>Thompson-Miller Funeral Home</B>, 124 E. North St., Butler. Funeral services will follow at 1 p.m. at the funeral home with the Rev.
