Frank Keltz Norante

Norante

Frank Keltz Norante of Edina, Minn., and Henderson, Nev., and formerly of Butler, passed away unexpectedly Saturday of natural causes.

Born in Latrobe, on Oct. 7, 1956, he was the beloved son of Nicholas John and Barbara Jennings Keltz Norante.

Frank was a graduate of Knoch High School and the University of Cincinnati, where he was a member of Sigma Alpha Epsilon.

Frank worked for AON Risk Solutions and had a long and successful career in the insurance and financial industries. Frank prided himself on understanding the details of the technologies and practices of the industries he served, but he most valued the friendships he developed with his clients and colleagues.

Frank enjoyed his life in Minnesota, especially the outdoors. He was an avid fisherman, treasuring the time he spent on many trips to Canada and in Minnesota on the water and in camp with friends and family. Frank was also proud of his skills in home renovation. He always had a project under way or in planning. He enjoyed entertaining friends and family, who always had an open invitation to visit.

Frank is survived by his cherished wife, J.J.; his mother, Barbara, and his brother, Nicholas J. Norante Jr., both of Butler; his sisters, Christine (Robert) Weyant of Wexford and Virginia (Tod) Schmidt of Twinsburg, Ohio; his niece, Laura (Ben) Erdeljac; his nephews, Robert Weyant and Nicholas M. Norante; his great-nephew, Lucas Erdeljac; and his beloved aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his father Nicholas, and his mother- in-law, Hardy Lowe Clay, who, in her final years, made her home with Frank and J.J.

Frank will be sadly missed by his family and all who knew him, but fondly remembered as a generous, loyal friend and a hard worker, always endeavoring to help in any way he could.
