Olde Stonewall Golf Club

The Olde Stonewall Golf Club, the nationally acclaimed classic course near Ellwood City, will pause in a busy 2012 season to pay tribute to wounded service men and women with a charity event for the benefit of the Wounded Warriors Project.

“These men and women unselfishly gave so much for all of us, and now we are honored to be able to repay them, at least in this small way, for their courage and devotion,” said Sean Swidzinski, Olde Stonewall’s head golf professional and a Class A member of the PGA of America.

The tournament on June 23 will be the centerpiece on a season Swidzinski expects to be even busier than last year when Olde Stonewall, in contrast to a sluggish golf picture in the country, again enjoyed a growth in business. Swidzinski’s answer to the doldrums is to give an outstanding course a slate of golf that has something for everyone.

That includes Play All Day, Member Mondays, regular daily play with a twilight rate, family play, individual memberships, corporate memberships and events for charities, corporations and clubs.

The green fee covers golf, cart with GPS system, use of the practice range and locker room.

Olde Stonewall also offers a full range of equipment and apparel in the Golf Shoppe.

And there’s something for every taste and appetite at Shakespeare’s Restaurant and Pub in the distinctive castle clubhouse.

For details on programs and fees, contact Sean Swidzinski at Olde Stonewall at 724-752-4653, Ext. 104, or e-mail him at golfpro@zoominternet.net.
