Patricia 'Pat' L. Fend Butler
Patricia “Pat” L. Fend Butler, 75, of Butler passed away at noon Monday at the VNA Inpatient Hospice.
She was born Sept. 3, 1936, in Butler, to the late Clyde Wesley Faull and Elda Margaret Steighner Faull.
Mrs. Butler was a retired floral designer who worked for Slippery Rock Florist in Slippery Rock. She was a board member of the Stoneridge Boulevard Association. Mrs. Butler taught ceramics and enjoyed computers, decorating and crocheting. But most of all, her greatest love was being with her family. She was a Catholic.
Mrs. Butler is survived by four sons, Gene Fend and his wife, Lenore, of Prospect, Gary Fend and his wife, Donna, of Evans City, Brian Fend and his wife, Jane, of Slippery Rock and Kevin Fend and his wife, Margie, of West Middlesex; two daughters, Linda Daniels and her husband, Dennis, of Slippery Rock and Sharon Whitaker and her husband, George, of Albuquerque, N.M.; 17 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; one brother, Ronald Faull and his wife, Shirley, of Grove City; one sister, Janet McDowell of Slippery Rock; and a number of nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Orval Bryan Butler, who she married on Sept. 17, 1986, and who passed away Dec. 22, 1996; two grandchildren, Jamie Fend and Jackie Whitaker; and one brother, William Faull.

Fend Butler, who passed away Monday, Feb. 20, 2012, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the <B>Thompson-Miller Funeral Home</B>, 124 E. North St., Butler.
