Patricia Jean Stobert

Patricia Jean Stobert of Saxonburg, a unique and wonderful mother, grandmother (Grandma Pat), teacher, and friend went home Sunday.

She taught us all what we needed to know. Above all else, she let her children be themselves, while instructing her grandchildren to be nothing like their parents! We all loved her dearly, as she loved us.

Born Aug. 11, 1942, in Natrona Heights, to the late Joseph and Marie Tomson, Patricia graduated from HarBrak High School in 1960.

She had one brother, William (Ann) Tomson, of whom she was so proud.

Later, Patricia fulfilled her lifelong dream of becoming a teacher at Butler County Community College and Slippery Rock University. She home-schooled several of her grandchildren and assisted countless others with term and research papers. She was truly a lifesaver in that regard.

Patricia is survived by her six children, Dawn (Max) Stepp of Cabot, Heather Dodd of Cabot, John (Connie) Stobert of Renfrew, Sidney (Stephan) Fesel of Sarver, Jason (Erin) Stobert of Butler and Rhett (Melissa) Stobert of Sarver; her 11 grandchildren, Rhodes Stepp, Ford Stepp, Sawyer Stepp, Hannah Dodd, Derek Stobert, Harrison Fesel, Jesse Fesel, Shae Stobert, Taylor Stobert, Alex Stobert and Adam Stobert; her two nephews, Bill Tomson and Jeff Tomson; and her niece, Amy Tomson.

Our mom went home this day and took a part of each of us with her.
