In loving memory of Donald Boben Sr.

Somewhere near or somewhere far lives my pap on a star,

He’s watching over me and you,

And of course grandma too.

One year ago he left us,

But be strong for grandma we must,

As the tears streamed down our face,

The whole family all said grace.

Pap was definitely a blessing,

He was our angel on earth with invisible wings.

As walls were punched and tears were cried,

We all had to say our last goodbye.

As difficult as this may sound,

This sad time always has to come around,

But as a family we are strong,

Even when things go wrong,

But no matter what we’ll always be there,

Cause that’s what families do...they care.

Pap, we love you so dearly and we miss you dearly,

You are the best. Keep getting your rest, until one day we come and again our family is one. Together we’ll stand hand in hand all of us together as one again.
