Boyd William Fulk Jr.
Boyd William Fulk Jr., 90, of Butler passed away Wednesday at Newhaven Court.
He was born Oct. 30, 1921, in Marien-ville, Pa., the son of the late Boyd William Fulk Sr. and Gladys (Baker) Fulk.
Boyd was a 1939 graduate of St. Petersburg High School. He served during World War II in the U.S. Army 7th Division, 57th Field Artillery, in the Pacific theater.
Boyd retired in 1983 after 43 years with the Baltimore and Ohio Railroad. He was a member of the St. Peter's Anglican Church, where he served in the vestry and was an usher. He was also a member and a past commander of the American Legion Post 636 of Foxburg, the Coudersport Consistory, the Canby Lodge of St. Petersburg, the VFW in Parker, the NRA, and the East Butler Hunting and Fishing Club. He was a scout master for the Boy Scouts.
He was an avid hunter, trapper and fisherman. He was a loving husband and father who will be greatly missed.
Surviving are his wife of 65 years, Betty Jean Fulk; two daughters, Donna (Roy) Steinheiser of Butler and Susan (Jerry) Siok of Anchorage, Alaska; seven grandchildren, Larry (Donna) Steinheiser, Terry (Kathy) Steinheiser, Donnie (Sandy) Steinheiser, Sharon Steinheiser, Aaron (Lori) Steinheiser, Ben Siok and Chris (Sherlynn) Siok; 12 great-grandchildren; and one great-great- grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Robert Fulk, who died in January of this year.

Jefferson St., Butler, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today. Masonic services by Lodge 540 will be at 6:30 p.m.Services will be at the St. Peter's Anglican Church, 218 E. Jefferson St., Butler, at 10 a.m. Saturday with Father Andrew DeFusco officiating.
