Bonnie E. Corbett, 88, of Saxonburg passed away on Tuesday at the Sunnyview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was a resident of the Commons of Saxonburg for 26 years.

Born Dec. 17, 1923, in East Butler, she was the daughter of Robert P. and Lillian (Bauder) Thomas.

She was one of the “Rosie the Riveters” during World War II. She worked for International Staple for 17 years and then worked for General Electric from 1974 until 1977.

She was a member of the Homeacre Chapel, Butler.

Surviving are her loving children, Robert J. Corbett and his wife, Denise, of Sarver and Sandra L. Patton of Butler; two grandchildren, Timothy Frayer and his wife, Jamie, of Butler and David Patton and his wife, Megan, of Butler, and six great-grandchildren, Christopher, Allison, Adara, Ethan, Caden and Isaac.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, John P. Corbett Jr., who passed away in February 1986; four brothers; and one sister.

<B>CORBETT</B> — Friends of Bonnie E. Corbett, who passed away on Tuesday, Feb. 14, 2012, will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the <B>Fox Funeral Home</B>, 410 W. Main St., Saxonburg.Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home with Pastor David L. Fisher officiating.
