Pamela J. Ryan, 60, of East Brady died Friday at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital, Pittsburgh.

Born Jan. 16, 1952, in Butler, she was the daughter of Donald V. and Lillian D. (Adams) Gay.

Pam was the wife of the late Richard “Dick” Ryan, who she married Jan. 25, 1974.

She was a 1969 graduate of East Brady High School. She loved collecting angels and traveling.

Pam was the president and a paramedic for the East Brady Ambulance Service since 1994. She was also a paramedic with the Dayton Ambulance Service for a number of years. Pam was the bookkeeper for Wiles Auto Body for 25 years.

Surviving her are two sons, Donald M. “Chip” Ryan and his fiance, Roxan M. Duttine, of East Brady and Timothy J. Ryan and his girlfriend, Jess M. Dugan, of East Brady; one sister, Shirley J. Robinson of East Brady; and one special friend, who she loved as her own daughter, Hope Ford of Odessa, Texas. Pam is also survived by four grandsons, Ryan Duttine, Travis Duttine, Brycen Ryan and Devin Ryan.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Richard “Dick” Ryan, who died June 14, 2003; one sister, Donna Switzer; and one brother, Richard V. Gay.

Charles B. Buechele Funeral Home, 105 4th St., East Brady.Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the First Presbyterian Church, East Brady, with the Rev. Bob Moore, moderator of the First Presbyterian Church, officiating.
