BUTLER TWP — Sing Hosanna! presents Rodgers and Hammerstein’s “Cinderella” at 7:30 p.m. March 30 and 31 and at 2 p.m. April 1 at the Succop Theater at Butler County Community College.

Sap-to-syrup program slated

BRADY TWP — Discover how sap taken from a maple tree becomes syrup on the breakfast table at 2 p.m. March 25 at Jennings Environmental Education Center, Route 528.

This is an annual free program. Registration is not required, but visitors should arrive early to get a seat.

Jennings is open from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. weekdays and on weekends as scheduled. The trails are open daily from sunrise to sunset. Call 724-794-6011 for more information.

‘Love’ tour stops in Mars

MARS — Mars Alliance Church, 997 Route 228, hosts a concert on the Called to Love Tour, featuring Downhere, Aaron Shust and Jason Gray.

The show takes place at 7:30 p.m. March 17. Tickets are $15 for general admission or $30 for VIP seating which includes a meet-and-greet with all three acts before the show.

Kean talent winners go on

GIBSONIA — Paige Hurbanek of Cranberry Township and Jordan Versaw of Mars will move on to the March 18 vocal semifinals of the Kean Quest Talent Search at the Kean Theatre, 5847 Meridian Road. Tickets are $10 at the door.

The finals are March 30.

Jessica Spafford of Chicora was the Judges’ Choice winner in the 2012 Kean Quest Talent Search Adult Vocal Competition March 4.

Carnegie hosts Irish artist

PITTSBURGH — The Carnegie Museum of Art presents the first American museum exhibition by artist-filmmaker Duncan Campbell, an artist based in Glasgow, Ireland.

The exhibit opens April 28 and includes three of Campbell’s films as well as new screen prints.

Hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesdays through Saturdays, with additional hours until 8 p.m. Thursdays, and noon to 5 p.m. Sundays.

Admission is $15 for adults, $12 for senior citizens, $11 for students with ID and children age 3 to 18, and free for members and children younger than 3. Admission is free 3:30 to 8 p.m. Thursdays in March.

Hughes joins skating tour

Pittsburgh — Sarah Hughes, 2002 Olympic figure skating champion, joins the ensemble of Olympic, World and National Champions for the “Stars on Ice Love ‘n’ Life” performance at 7:30 p.m. Saturday at Consol Energy Center.

Other skaters include Kurt Browning, Ekaterina Gordeeva, Ilia Kulik, Ryan Bradley and dance champions Sinead and John Kerr.
