BUTLER TWP — Butler's Paige Rittelmann placed fourth in the high jump at the PIAA Indoor State Championships recently.
Her jump was 5 feet, 4 inches at the meet, held at Penn State University.

Four Butler County high school basketball teams will be playing PIAA tournament games this week. They include:
Boys Class AAAA
• Obama Academy (16-6) at Butler (13-12), 7 p.m. Tuesday
• Mifflin County (17-7) at Seneca Valley (14-10), 7 p.m. Tuesday
Class AAA
• Oliver (7-16) at Mars (17-7), 7 p.m. Tuesday
Girls Class AA
• Moniteau (14-10) vs. Keystone Oaks (19-7), 6 p.m. Friday at North Hills High School.
DUESSELDORF, Germany — Wladimir Klitschko stopped Jean-Marc Mormeck of France in the fourth round of a one-sided fight to retain his WBA and IBF heavyweight titles on Saturday.The Ukrainian put Mormeck down with a left-right combination. Mormeck beat the count but looked wobbly and referee Luis Pabon ended it.
