Eleanor C. George Foringer

Eleanor C. George Foringer, 72, of West Deer Township died Monday at UPMC-St. Margarets.

She was born Sept. 23, 1939, in Saxonburg. She lived in West Deer for the past 44 years and was a 1957 graduate of West Deer High School. She worked for Subway in Richland for the past five years and had worked in the food industry as a cook for more than 30 years.

She was a member of the Owl's Club, Russellton, the Culmerville Sportsman Club and the Polish National Association in Harwick. She enjoyed crocheting, reading, playing video games, baking, playing bingo and bowling. She especially enjoyed spending time with her children and their families.

Survivors include her daughters, Carol L. (James) Farr of Herman, Bonny A. (James) Snyder of Dravosburg, Sharon (James) Pschirer of Slippery Rock and Deborah K. (Paul) Samek of North Washington; her sons, Robert B. Foringer Jr. of West Deer Township and Douglas R. (Mindy-Jo) Foringer of Penn Township; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; her brothers, Paul (Lavdada) George of Zelienople, Frank (Dolores) George of Nevada and Kenneth (Mary Ellen) George of Baltimore, Md., and her sisters, Betty (Richard) Wall of Missouri and Mary Elizabeth Graham of Mars.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert B. Foringer Sr.; her parents, William and Mary (Kidd) George; her brothers, Thomas, Norman, Edward and William George; and her sisters, Esther Burns and Shirley Sasse.

<B>FORINGER</B> — Friends of Eleanor C. George Foringer, who died Monday, Jan. 30, 2012, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at the <B>SIWICKI-YANICKO FUNERAL HOME</B>, 23 McKrell Road, Russellton, West Deer, where the funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday.
