A free concert by the Wright Brass of the U.S. Air Force Band is planned for 2 p.m. March 15 at Westminster College, New Wilmington.

NEW WILMINGTON — The Wright Brass of the U.S. Air Force Band of Flight will perform at 2 p.m. March 15 in Orr Auditorium at Westminster College. Admission is free.

Westminster’s department of music is hosting the event.

Wright Brass, one of four classical ensembles within the U.S. Air Force Band of Flight, features a blend of sound, style and humor for all audiences.

The U.S. Air Force Band of Flight is one of 12 bands in the Air Force. The band’s purpose is to support the Air Force mission in both war and peace by fostering American heritage and providing professional musical services for military, recruiting and community events.
