BAKERSTOWN — “Esther, the Musical,” in its sixth season, goes on again at 7:30 p.m. Friday and at 2 p.m. Saturday at First Presbyterian Church of Bakerstown, Route 8 and Heckert Road.

The play, written by Jeannie Allen of Valencia, reflects the Old Testament story of one woman who was inspired by God and changed the course of history.

The Broadway-style show features 18 original songs in a variety of styles.

Allen is a professional pianist, vocalist and teacher. She has written more than 100 songs and had four albums released.

The “Esther” cast and crew includes:

Butler residents Dave Sloboda, Andrew Sloboda, Davlin Smith, Mia Tepper, Mitch Tepper and Jay Toogood;

Admission is $10 for adults and $5 for children. The performance benefits missions to Honduras.
