Thomas M. Weibel
Thomas H. Weibel, 77, of East Brady passed away Tuesday at Butler Memorial Hospital
Born in Butler on March 27, 1934, he was the son of Eugene J. and Marjorie E. (Hile) Weibel.
He was the husband of Marylin Kay (Barger) Weibel, who he married Feb. 27, 1960.
He served in the U.S. Army in Germany and was honorably discharged with a rank of Specialist 4.
A 1952 graduate of East Brady High School, he enjoyed gardening.
Tom started his career as self-employed professional land surveyor as an assistant under his father, then continued his career in the East Brady area for many years.
He was a member of St. Eusebius Roman Catholic Church, East Brady. Tom served as a Eucharistic minister, a hospitality minister, altar server, a St. Eusebius cemetery crew member, a past member of the Parish Council and helped with church fundraisers.
He served on the Clarion County Planning Commission and the East Brady Sewer Authority.
He is survived by his wife, Marylin Kay Weibel of East Brady; two brothers, John A. Weibel and his wife, Dawn, of East Brady and James E. Weibel and his wife, Mary, of Lancaster; two sisters, Margaret Jane Dolmovich of Manassas, Va., and Janet E. Wright and her husband, C. Keith, of East Brady; and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and several godchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Daniel S. Weibel.
<B>WEIBEL</B> — Friends of Thomas H. Weibel, who died Tuesday, Jan. 24, 2012, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the <B>Charles B. Buechele Funeral Home</B> 105 Fourth St., East Brady.A parish prayer service will be at 3:30 p.m. Friday in the funeral home.A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Eusebius Roman Catholic Church, East Brady, with the Rev. William Kuba, pastor of the church, officiating. Burial will be in St. Eusebius Cemetery, Brady Township, Clarion County.
