Helen M. Leisie, 91, of St. Johns LAS, Mars, formerly of Evans City, passed away Tuesday afternoon in UPMC Passavant.

Born in Pittsburgh on Sept. 23, 1920, she was the daughter of the late Clarence and Jennie Reichle Leisie.

Ms. Leisie was a member of the Westminster Presbyterian Church in Evans City. She was a missionary with T.E.A.M., serving 25 years in Arkansas and India.

She graduated from Evans City High School in 1938. She also attended Robert Morris College and Moody Bible Institute.

She was preceded in death by two sisters, Hazel Burford and Ruth Robinson.

She is survived by one brother, Frank (Marjory) Leisie of Cranberry Township, and nieces and nephews.

<B>LEISIE</B> — Friends and relatives of Helen M. Leisie, who died Tuesday, Jan. 24, 2012, will be received at the <B>A. Carl Kinsey-Ronald N. Volz Funeral Home</B>, 328 W. Main St., Evans City, from 1 to 2 p.m. Friday. Funeral services will follow at 2 p.m. with the Rev. John Park, her pastor, officiating.
