Harold 'Dutch' James

James

Harold “Dutch” James, 86, of Prospect passed away Tuesday at Saxony Health Center.

He was born Nov. 15, 1925, in Butler, to the late Richard and Ruby James.

Mr. James was an electrical engineer for WTAE-TV, and he enjoyed working on the farm. He was veteran of U.S. Army Air Corp during World War II.

He graduated from the University of Chicago.

Mr. James is survived by one son, Gary L. James and his wife, Doris, of Prospect; one daughter, Sandra Allen and her husband, David, of Butler; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; three brothers, Nelson, Phillip and Walter James; one sister, Ruth McCall; and a number of nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Gloria M. James, who passed away on Dec. 6, 2003, and one brother.

<B>JAMES</B> — Friends of Harold “Dutch” James, who passed away Tuesday, Jan. 24, 2012, will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday and also from noon to 1 p.m. Saturday at <B>Thompson-Miller Funeral Home</B>, 124 E.
