Butler County Symphony Orchestra’s concert March 10 will feature the winners of the 33rd annual young artist competition. The concert will begin at 7:30 p.m. at the Butler Intermediate High School auditorium. The two winners are pianist Hannah Che and violinist Andrew Percy. Guest conductor is Thomas Hong. The fifth annual Oil Country Bluegrass Festival will be held Friday through Sunday at America’s Best Value Inn and Suites’ Arlington Hotel in Oil City. Pittsburgh Youth Symphony Orchestra presents “Shostakovich Five,” a free concert, at 2 p.m. March 3 at Heinz Hall, 600 Penn Ave. Area students Michaela Valenta of Mars, who plays the cello, and Ken Klabnik of Sarver, who plays the French horn, are members of the orchestra.
