David Allan Martin, 63, of Talbott, Tenn., passed away Jan. 8, 2012.

Born in Pittsburgh, he was the son of Raymond “Bud” Martin of Evans City and the late Doris Houggy Martin.

He worked in the furniture industry in the United States and Asia for 40 years. David was a 1972 graduate of the University of Tennessee in engineering and forestry.

In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by one sister and one brother, Patti Martin and Jerry Martin.

He is survived by his wife, Beverly Martin of Morristown, Tenn.; one son, Zak Martin of Lexington, Ky.; one daughter, Elizabeth Martin of Morristown, Tenn.; his father of Evans City; and one brother, William Martin of Warren.
