The Associated Artists of Butler County hosts a Mardi Gras band night Friday in the Underground Gallery at The Art Center, 344 S. Main St. Bands will include Takeover Soldiers, Deteceplin, The Bohemians, and a Guns and Roses tribute featuring ex-members of the Peter Brady Love Connection. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. with the performances starting at 7 p.m. Cover is $5. Patrons are encouraged to attend in a Mardi Gras costume. The exhibit continuing through March 2 is the invitational art exhibit, which includes 70 pieces of artwork representing 17 invited artists from Butler County and the surrounding area. The deadline for entries in the human form show is Feb. 24. Gallery hours are noon to 6 p.m. Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays and noon to 4 p.m. Saturdays. Admission is free. Call 724-283-6922.

Maridon Museum, 322 N. McKean St., will host “Fiber Haiku,” the Fiberarts Guild of Pittsburgh Membership Exhibition, from Feb. 22 to April 14. A reception and artists' talk will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. March 4. Cash “Best of Show” and “People's Choice” awards will be presented.
