John Michael Gamble
In loving memory of John Michael Gamble, who passed away 20 years ago on Feb. 7, 1992.
I remember watching the sweetest baby grow into the cutest little boy. I can still hear you saying, “Hey Murray, Know What? or Hey Murray, Why Does?” I would put my arms around you and say, “I love you, John”, and I was so proud of you.
I remember watching you grow into a shy sensitive teenager. I can still hear saying, “Don’t worry Gramma, I’ll fix it.” I would put my arms around you and say, “I love you, John”, and I was so proud of you.
I remember Christmas 1991 as I stood beside the handsome young man you had grown to be, I can still hear your little laugh when I put my arms around you for the last time and said, “I love you, John.” And I was so proud of you.
Six weeks later you were gone. But I know when my life is through, we’ll be together again, me and you.
I’ll once more hear your sweet voice saying, “Hello there! How are you? Once more I’ll put my arms around you and say, “I love you, John”, and I’ll be so proud of you.
