Betty J. Davis

Betty J. Davis, 76, of Butler passed away Tuesday at Butler Memorial Hospital.

Born in Butler on Oct. 29, 1935, she was the daughter of Albert and Sophie Zevada Lehere, who are deceased.

A homemaker, Betty was a pharmacy technician and retired from the Butler VA Medical Center, now VA Butler Healthcare. She also had worked at Thrift Drug in the Point Plaza Shopping Center and at The Medicine Shoppe on Cunningham Street, both in Butler.

She was a member of St. Mark's Lutheran Church.

Betty is survived by three daughters, Evelyn J. Dadoush of San Diego, Michelle R. Young and her husband, Jim, of Ohio, and Tammy L. Gross and her husband, Charles, of Butler.

She also is survived by two brothers, Robert E. Lehere of Butler and Ronald Lehere of Saxonburg; and one grandson, C.J. Gross of Butler.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John R. Davis, who passed away April 22, 1988; a brother, and a sister.

<B>DAVIS</B> — Services for Betty J. Davis, who passed away Tuesday, Jan. 3, 2012, will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at the <B>MARTIN FUNERAL HOME</B>, 429 Center Ave., Butler. The Rev. Alden Towberman, pastor of St. Mark’s Lutheran Church, will officiate.
