William McCoy
William David McCoy, 70, of Butler passed away at 10:42 a.m. Friday at his home.
He was born June 13, 1941, in Punxsutawney to the late William D. McCoy and June L. Hamill.
Mr. McCoy was a former member of St. Peter's Episcopal Church in Butler. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy. Mr. McCoy was a retired welder for General Electric in Erie.
Mr. McCoy is survived by one sister, Susan Ernst and her husband, John, of Butler; one brother, John McCoy and his wife, Joanne, of Butler; three nieces, Jonee Mascellino and her husband, Charles, Laura Mark and her husband, Scott, and Lisa Wilson and her husband, Bryan; one nephew, Derek Ernst and his wife, Rita; and 12 great-nieces and nephews.
<B>MCCOY</B> — Friends of William David McCoy, who died Friday, Dec. 30, 2011, will be received at <B>Thompson-Miller Funeral Home</B>, 124 E. North St. Butler, on from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Monday with a service immediately following at 8:30 p.m. with Bob Smith, chief chaplain of VA Butler Healthcare, officiating.
