Charles J. Matuke, 65, of Butler passed away at 2:40 p.m. Monday at Butler Memorial Hospital.

He was born July 12, 1946, in Butler, the son of the late Steve and Betty (Commons) Matuke.

Charles was a member of the Thorncreek United Methodist Church. He drove a truck for Teamster Local 341, and he enjoyed camping.

Surviving are his wife, Shirley (Miller) Matuke; three daughters, Donna Matuke and Charlene (Bill) DePace, both of Coraopolis, and Stacy (Victor) Gould of Butler; two sons, Charlie Matuke of Oklahoma and Butch Scott of Butler; nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; four brothers, Steve (Mary) Matuke of Minnesota, Paul (Joyce) Matuke and Frank (Diane) Matuke, both of Butler, and Donald (Mary Lou) Matuke of Texas.

He was preceded in death by his brother, James Matuke.

MATUKE — A memorial service for Charles J. Matuke, who died Monday, Dec. 26, 2011, will be at the Thorncreek United Methodist Church, 142 Rockdale Road, Butler, at 10 a.m. Thursday. The burial is private.Arrangements are entrusted to
