Dorothy Mary Jenkins Curtis, 87, of Cranberry Township passed away on Sunday while in the comfort of her home.

Born Dec. 20, 1924, in Pittsburgh, she was the daughter of the late Roy and Mary Helen (Craig) Jenkins.

Dorothy was a member of the St. Matthias Catholic Church where she was a member of the Christian Mothers. In addition, she was associated with the Moraine Trails Council of Boy Scouts of America.

She is survived by five children, Mary Ann Curtis of Georgia, William R. Curtis and his wife, Denise, of Zelienople, James R. Curtis of Cranberry Township, Patricia R. Curtis of Cranberry Township and Terry L. Curtis and his wife, Laura, of Boyers; five grandchildren, Cameo Jones, Philip Curtis, Christopher Curtis, Janine Majcan and Alana Curtis; and eight great-grandchildren, Brent Jones, Melody Jones, Arron Jones, Cameron Jones, Katherine Curtis, Jeffrey Curtis, Johnathan Majcan and Amy Majcan.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Russell W. “Bill” Curtis, who died on June 16, 1995; her grandson, Nathan Curtis; and two brothers.
