Justine M. Yost
Justine M. Yost, 70, of Butler passed away suddenly Tuesday at Butler Memorial Hospital.
Born in Youngs-town, Ohio, on July 10, 1941, she was the daughter of John C. and Helen Baker Paulitz, who are deceased.
Justine was a 1959 graduate of Sharon High School. After working at Sharon General Hospital, she married William A. Yost on Oct. 24, 1964, and moved to Butler.
Justine was an active member of the St. Mary of the Assumption Roman Catholic Parish in Herman and belonged to the Women’s Group. She was a former member of the East Butler Firemen’s Ladies Auxiliary and the Butler Moose Lodge.
For many years, Justine was employed by and bowled at the former B&W Bowling Lanes, Butler.
She volunteered with the American Red Cross and the Butler Public Library.
Justine enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles and crafts, but her greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband; her daughter, Lisa (Brian) Ellis; her sons, William J. (Karen) Yost, David (Beth) Yost, and Michael (Cheryl) Yost.
She is survived by her grandchildren, Shauna, Alexandra, Holly, Brooke and Rylee, and one great-grandchild, Julian.
She also is survived by two brothers, John (MaryAnn) Paulitz and Joel Daniel (Gloria Jean) Paulitz; one sister, Judith Paulitz; and many loving uncles, aunts, nephews and nieces.

GEIBEL FUNERAL HOME, 201 E. Cunningham St., Butler. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Mary of the Assumption Roman Catholic Church in Herman.
