Charles J. Ross, 30, of Butler died on Saturday.

Born Dec. 15, 1981, in Butler, he was the son of John B. Smolter of Glenshaw and the late Theresa Morelli Smolter. He was the brother of William D. Smolter of Glenshaw and the uncle of Scott Morelli.
