Forwerck

Ruth Ann Thomas Forwerck, 60, of Renfrew went to be with the Lord on Saturday in Ft. Myers, Fla., after an accident.

She was born on Aug. 19, 1951, in Butler, and was the daughter of the late Charles and Wilda Michael.

Ruth was a 1969 graduate of Butler High School. She attended Cedarville College and Butler County Community College. She majored in business.

She attended the Seventh-day Adventist Church of Meridian.

She enjoyed reading, cooking, canning, gardening, doing crafts, traveling and spending time with her grandchildren and family.

She was affiliated with the Butler Farm Show Board of Antiques and assisted with the Connoquenessing Township and borough elections.

She is survived by her husband, Larry Forwerck, who she married in 1992, her sister, Carol (Jacob) Detrie; two daughters and a son, Carol (Dennis) Walowen of Petrolia, Melissa (Carl) Kurtz of Lyndora and Robert (Susan) Thomas of Polk; and seven grandchildren, Zachary, Alyssa, Jacob, Dakota, Hannah, Arianna and Jocelyn.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
