Nellie J. Kienzle
Nellie J. Kienzle, 94, of Butler passed away Wednesday morning at the Lowrie House.
Born in Butler on Oct. 18, 1918, she was the daughter of the late Clarence and Amanda Noble Carnahan.
She was a homemaker, and a member of the St. Peter Roman Catholic Church.
She is survived by one son, James E. Kienzle and his wife, Jody, of Houston; three daughters, Gloria Lavorini and her husband, Ronald, of Butler, Nancy Stepp of Butler and Linda Hilovsky and her husband, Frank, of Butler; one sister, Gladys Steffler of Georgia; nine grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband Leo P. Kienzle, who passed away July 1, 2007; one granddaughter, Stacy Stepp Huitema; and one sister, Geraldine Wampler.
KIENZLE — Friends of Nellie J. Kienzle, who died Wednesday, Dec. 19, 2012, will be received at Martin Funeral Home Inc., 429 Center Ave., Butler, from 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday at the St. Peter Roman Catholic Church. Burial will take place in Calvary Cemetery.The Women's Council of St. Peter's will meet at the church at 9:40 a.m. Friday to recite the rosary.Information also is available at www.martinfh.net.
