Goehring

Merle E. Goehring, 90, of Zelienople died Sunday at UPMC Cranberry.

Born in Evans City, Sept. 2, 1921, he was the son of the late Alvie and Viola Metz Goehring.

He was a Protestant.

He retired from MSA in 1984 after 30 years in the material handling department.

He enjoyed gardening and taking care of his lawn. Merle especially enjoyed spending time with his family.

Merle was preceded in death by a sister and a brother.

He is survived by his wife, R. Jean Neely Goehring, who he married July 18, 1945; one daughter, Janice (Ivan) Bossler of Evans City; a son, Kenneth (Donna) Goehring of Zelienople; three grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.

<B>GOEHRING — </B>Relatives and friends of Merle E. Goehring, who died Sunday, Dec. 18, 2011, will be received at the <B>A. Carl Kinsey-Ronald N. Volz Funeral Home</B>, 328 W. Main St., Evans City, from noon to 2 p.m. Wednesday.
