Charles E. Ealy Sr.
Charles E. Ealy Sr., 67, of Petrolia passed away at 2:42 p.m. Tuesday at Butler Memorial Hospital.
He was born April 17, 1945, in Butler, to the late Oscar Ealy and Gladys Wilford Ealy.
Mr. Ealy worked for PennDOT and had other various jobs. He was a Protestant. Mr. Ealy enjoyed watching wrestling and game shows.
Mr. Ealy is survived by his wife, Lela M. (Pisor) Ealy, who he married on Aug. 26, 1967; one son, Charles Ealy of Butler; three daughters, Tammy Ealy of Petrolia, Brenda Ealy of Butler and Anna White and her husband, Richard, of Punxsutwaney; 21 grandchildren, including Bruce Ealy, who he considered as a son; five great-grandchildren; two brothers, Merle Ealy of New Castle and Ron Ealy of Butler; and one sister, Shirley Boyle of Butler.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters.
EALY — Friends of Charles E. Ealy Sr., who passed away Tuesday, Dec. 18, 2012, will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday at Thompson-Miller Funeral Home, 124 E. North St., Butler.
