The exhibit is a who’s who of the modern American comics, featuring Garfield, Beetle Bailey and Doonsebury among others. The exhibit runs through January. “Funky Turns 40,” celebrating the legacy of the first wave of positive black animated characters of the 1970s, continues through March 10.
