BALDWIN, Pa. (AP) — State police are questioning the ex-boyfriend of a woman whose body was found fatally stabbed in a wooded area of southwestern Pennsylvania.

Police say family members of 21-year-old Karissa Kunco initially reported her missing Wednesday after she wasn't home when a friend arrived to go out to dinner. Her body and car were found about 6 miles apart in Washington County, about 40 miles southwest of Pittsburgh.

Investigators say the Baldwin woman's estranged boyfriend turned himself in late Thursday. He is not being called a suspect but is being held on two unrelated warrants.

Authorities say the boyfriend assaulted Kunco in December in Pittsburgh and she had a protection from abuse order.
