Tractor-trailer catches fire on I-79 off-ramp
MUDDY CREEK TWP — A tractor-trailer traveling on the off-ramp of Interstate 79 onto Route 422 this morning caught on fire.
The Prospect and Portersville volunteer fire departments responded to the 8:03 a.m. 911 call.
Butler County Emergency Services reported the fire was prevented from spreading from the truck’s cab to the trailer.
Traffic was backed up on the highway while the ramp was closed.
