New warden appointed at Butler County Prison
The Butler County Prison Board today appointed a new warden for the county jail.
Deputy Warden Rick Shaffer will succeed Warden Rich Gigliotti, who retires in late February.
Shaffer, 51, of Cranberry Township has worked at the prison for nearly 23 years.
