ZELIENOPLE — An original live production of “Rudolph, Frosty, the Grinch & Friends” will take place at 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday and at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Strand Theater, 119 N. Main St.
“Rudolph, Frosty, the Grinch & Friends” takes the audience back in time to the 1960s and ’70s, when all of those classic claymation and animated specials were on television, like “Rudolph, The Red Nosed Reindeer,” “Frosty the Snowman,” “Year Without a Santa Claus,” “The Little Drummer Boy,” “A Charlie Brown Christmas” and “How the Grinch Stole Christmas.”
The memorable music from those shows will take center stage as professionals pay tribute to those beloved programs. Songs include “Snow & Heat Miser Songs,” “Silver & Gold,” “Holly Jolly Christmas,” “The Grinch Song,” and the famous jazz orchestrations of Vince Guaraldi from “A Charlie Brown Christmas.”
Tickets range from $25 to $35, or $10 to $25 for regular reserve seating and for children age 12 and younger, with family four-packs available.
