EVANS CITY — Three Rivers Ringers of Pittsburgh will perform at 8 p.m. Saturday at St. John's United Church of Christ, 501 E Main St.

The group's artistic director is Butler native Nancy Lutz. Admission is free, but donations will be accepted.

On Saturday, Westminster Presbyterian Church in America will host a Christian Concert for the community in their Youth Amphitheater.Doors open at 6 p.m. with the show beginning at 6:30 p.m. There is a $5 charge at the door.Featured artists include Oceans of Glass, These Three Words, Stone the Messenger, Nathan Stiteler and Bare Branches.Enter through the rear double doors into the basement. The Concordia Havens Chorale, a group of 35 residents of the senior community in Winfield and Jefferson townships, will present the cantata “A Joyful, Wondrous Story” at 7 p.m. Tuesday in the dining room of Haven I, Entrance 2A, 112 Marwood Road.Admission is free and light refreshments will be served.The cantata will be dedicated to Ray Roth, a resident who passed away this year.

PENN TWP — Nixon United Methodist Church, 334 Airport Road, will host a drive-through nativity from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.Nine scenes will depict the nativity with live actors and animals. There is no cost, but donations will be accepted.Take a canned good for the South Butler Food Pantry.

St. Paul Roman Catholic Church, 128 N. McKean St., will host holy hours at 7 p.m. on these dates:n Dec. 12 — Holy hour for peace will include prayers for peace, vocations, rosary, Our Lady of Perpetual Help, Benedictionn Dec. 20 — Divine Mercy, Stations of the Cross, Divine Mercy Chaplet, Benediction.

WEST SUNBURY — The West Sunbury United Church of the Nazarene, 544 Halston Road, will perform the Christmas comedy “Unexpected Christmas” at 7 p.m. Friday and at 10:30 a.m. Sunday.For information, call Pastor Tim Britton at 637-476-1155.

CHICORA — Youths at the Chicora Christian and Missionary Alliance Church, 310 E. Slippery Rock St., will present the musical “The Great Christmas Giveaway” at 6 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.

SLIPPERY ROCK — Grace Anglican Church of Slippery Rock will host a free Italian dinner and Christmas show beginning at 5:45 p.m. Wednesday at Highland Presbyterian Church, 310 Franklin St.The show will be Charles William's play “The House by the Stable.”Seating is limited. SAXONBURG — Saxonburg Memorial Presbyterian Church, 100 E. Main St., will present the Christmas musical “Heaven and Nature Sings” at 7 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.

The Butler Women's Connection will host a “Holiday Strings and Things” continental breakfast from 9:30 to 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Tanglewood Center, 10 Austin Ave., Lyndora.The event will feature Knitting Creations by Lynn and Christmas violin music by Judy Deahl. Billie Brink will speak on “Life is What Happens When You are Planning Something Else.”Reservations are necessary. CENTER TWP — The First United Methodist Church will host A Night in Bethlehem from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday at its Crossfire campus, Route 8 and Mercer Road.The event will simulate biblical times with a marketplace featuring Roman guards; Zachariah in the temple; Joseph, Mary and Jesus in the stable; and live animals and food.The marketplace will allow visitors to experience crafts like coppersmithing, pottery, woodworking, quilt squares, scrolls and cookie decorating.

FENELTON — Fenelton United Methodist Church on Chicora Road will host an old fashioned hymn sing at 3 p.m. Sunday.Refreshments will be served.
