DURYEA, Pa. — A northeastern Pennsylvania teen hopes a Christmas album he recorded can spread some holiday cheer to Pennsylvania families hit hard by record flooding earlier this year.

Sixteen-year-old guitarist Jordan Marsh had planned to make a Christmas CD for his family and friends. But the junior firefighter decided to sell copies to raise money to buy toys for affected families.

The Duryea teen has raised more than $1,000 so far. He says he’ll buy toys for children in other hard-hit communities if he raises enough money.
