ELIZABETH — Emergency dispatchers say a 14-year-old boy has been shot in the leg while hunting with his father near Pittsburgh on the first day of deer rifle season.

Authorities have yet to release the name of the boy who was injured early today while hunting in Elizabeth.

Authorities say the boy has been taken to Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh of UPMC.

It was not immediately clear if the boy accidentally shot himself or was otherwise shot.

MIDDLETOWN — A nuclear reactor at the Three Mile Island power plant in central Pennsylvania is back in service after a refueling outage.Exelon says the unit went back in service Friday after more than a month. Workers replaced nearly a third of the reactor's fuel and performed thousands of inspections and maintenance activities.
