BELLEFONTE — A district court is pushing back by a week the preliminary hearing for former Penn State assistant coach Jerry Sandusky, accused of sexual abuse of eight boys over a 15-year period.

The hearing was rescheduled Tuesday for Dec. 13 in the Centre County Courthouse in Bellefonte.

A posting on an official government website established to spread public information about the case says the new schedule is meant to accommodate “logistical needs.”
