JEFFERSON TWP — Thorn Creek United Methodist Church, 142 Rockdale Road, will host its annual train display beginning Thanksgiving weekend. Trains are from the collection of the Rev. Kurt Knobel.

The display will be open from noon to 8 p.m. Friday through Nov. 27. Hours for following weekends through New Year's Day will be 5 to 8 p.m. Fridays and noon to 8 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays or by appointment.

The display will be closed on Christmas Eve and Christmas.

Homemade soups, sandwiches and cookies will be available for sale. Admission is free, but donations will be accepted.

Dr. Emily Dryden of Advanced OB/GYN Associates will hold the free educational session “Managing Early Pregnancy” at 7 p.m. Nov. 28 in the Nixon/Sarver Education Center at Butler Memorial Hospital.Registration is required by Friday. Call 724-285-9200.
