Lois G. Nolan, 63, of Cleveland Street, Butler, died Monday morning at her home.

Born June 22, 1948, in Clarion, she was a daughter of the late Willard and Janet (Sherman) French.

She was a member of St. Peter Roman Catholic Church and the Women's Council of St. Peter and had volunteered at her church and also at the YWCA.

She enjoyed water aerobics.

Surviving are her husband, Richard J. Nolan, who she married May 1, 1965; a daughter, Rhonda (Mark) Coyle of Butler; a son, Richard J. Nolan, Jr. of Butler; two grandchildren, Diana (Jason) Toogood and Richard M. Nolan, all of Butler; a step-grandson, Seth (Brandi) Coyle of Butler; three step-great-grandchildren; a sister, Darlyne (William) McFarland of Butler; a brother, David (Karen) French of Renfrew; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by a half-brother, Benjamin Lantz.

<B>NOLAN </B>— Friends of Lois G. Nolan, who died Monday, Oct. 17, 2011, will be received at <B>Geibel Funeral Home</B>, 201 E. Cunningham St., Butler, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Thursday at St. Peter Roman Catholic Church, 127 Franklin St., Butler. The Rev. James Dolan, pastor, will officiate. Entombment will follow in Calvary Cemetery Mausoleum.The Women’s Council of St. Peter will meet at 10:35 a.m. Thursday at the church to recite the rosary.Information also is available at www.geibelfuneralhome.com.
