Letty M. Roche, 59, of Butler passed away Wednesday the at VNA Inpatient Hospice.

She was born June 7, 1952, in Butler, the daughter of the late Raymond W. and Pearl (Dobyns) Long.

Letty was a member of the Grace at Calvary Church Lutheran Church. She was a graduate of the Butler High School Class of 1970, and she graduated from Butler County Community College School of Nursing in 1972.

She was an LPN for the VA Hospital for 36 years, retiring in 2009. Letty enjoyed traveling, gardening and her children.

Surviving are her husband of 30 years, Dennis L. Roche; two sons, Corey D. Roche of Butler and Ryan H. Roche of Oil City; two stepdaughters, Jane E. Douthett of Saxonburg and Katie L. Roche of Butler; two stepsons, Charles J. Roche of Butler and Thomas M. Roche of Brooklyn, N.Y.; and two sisters, Shirley Long of Pittsburgh and Donna Pernicano of Butler.

She was preceded in death by two brothers and one sister.
