Donald R. McClelland
Donald R. McClelland, 81, of Butler passed away Wednesday at UPMC Passavant-Cranberry.
He was born May 4, 1930, in Pittsburgh, to the late Frank McClelland and Josephine Holub McClelland.
Mr. McClelland was a night auditor for National City Bank and a salesman for Wicke's Furniture.
He was a die-hard Steelers' fan.
Mr. McClelland is survived by one son, John M. McClelland of Lucedale, Mich.; five daughters, Sheila Powers and her husband, Thomas, of East Butler, Joan E. Tolfa and her husband, Walter, of Butler, Stacey J. Pellerin of Turner, Maine, Joyce K. Collins and her husband, Troy, of Owings, Md., and Gail M. Wright and her husband, James, of Dayton, Ohio; 15 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy R. McClelland, who he married Jan. 28, 1956, and who passed away Feb. 26, 2004; one son, and one brother.
<B>MCCLELLAND </B>— Friends of Donald R. McClelland, who died Wednesday, Oct. 12, 2011, will be received at <B>Thompson-Miller Funeral Home</B>, 124 E. North St., Butler, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday. Funeral services will be at the funeral home at 11 a.m. Saturday with the Rev. Ben Oesterling of Mount Zion Baptist Church officiating.
