Pauline G. Grodecki
Pauline G. Grodecki, 78, of Cranberry Township died peacefully Sunday at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center surrounded by her loving family.
Born March 5, 1933, in Homestead, she was the daughter of the late George and Margaret (Fabian) Markoff.
Mrs. Grodecki retired in 1994 after 25 years of employment with Giant Eagle Markets.
She enjoyed line dancing at the Cranberry Township Senior Center, where she also was a member of the Senior Civic group.
Mrs. Grodecki was a member of St. Ferdinand Roman Catholic Church, where she was a member of the Royal Court and served in the Comfort Blanket Ministry.
She is survived by her loving daughter, Pauline A. Hoffman of Evans City; a brother, George (Madeline) Markoff of Shaler Township; two sisters, Agnes (Jack) Taeff of Beverly Hills, Fla., and Margaret Ann Mella of McCandless Township; three grandchildren, June, Andrew and Daniel Drozdowski; three great-grandchildren, James, Richard, and Nicholas; her godson, Jack Taeff Jr.; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Thaddeus “Ted” Grodecki; her son, Thaddeus W. “Gro” Grodecki; and two sons-in-law, George Hoffman and Henry Drozdowski Jr.

Grodecki, who died Sunday, Oct. 9, 2011, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at <B>Glenn-Kildoo Funeral Home</B>, 130 Wisconsin Ave., Cranberry Township. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Ferdinand Roman Catholic Church, Cranberry Township.
